Standard Magnesium ingot

Magnesium is a silver-white metallic and highly reactive chemical element, recognized as the lightest structural metal. With a density of 1.7 g/cm³, magnesium is one-third lighter than aluminum and approximately 70% lighter than steel. Besides remarkable weight reduction, magnesium offers superior stability, electromagnetic shielding, damping properties, and excellent heat dissipation.

The standard size for Pure (99.90%) and High Purity (99.95%) magnesium ingots is 7.5 kg packing in wooden/magnesium pallets of 1250 kgs net each.

Pure magnesium of 99.90% grade is primarily used in the aluminum alloying industry.

Pure magnesium of 99.95% grade is mainly intended for zirconium and titanium reduction processes.

Specific Magnesium ingot

Magnesium is a silver-white metallic and highly reactive chemical element, known as the lightest of all structural metals. With a density of 1.7 g/cm³, magnesium is one-third lighter than aluminum and approximately 70% lighter than steel. Beyond weight reduction, magnesium offers superior stability, excellent electromagnetic shielding, damping properties, and exceptional heat dissipation.

Pure magnesium (99.90%) and High Purity magnesium (99.95%) are available in various ingot shapes and sizes to meet different needs:

300 g ingots are ideal for applications where smaller ingots are preferred, it is easy handling and precise melting for small-scale operations. such as the production of ductile iron (DI) pipes.

16 kg grinding slab ingots are designed for optimal efficiency in grinding operations.

125 kg direct chill cast ingots in T-bar configuration are suitable for larger alloying additions.

Custom ingot sizes are available upon request to meet your specific requirements.

Magnesium Alloy

Magnesium alloys are lightweight materials made primarily from magnesium and are known for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio. They are commonly used in various applications where reducing weight is crucial, such as in the aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries. Magnesium alloys are also valued for their good machinability and damping properties.

The majority of magnesium alloy and recycled magnesium alloy supplied by SYMIC are:

(The scrap addition ratio for recycling magnesium alloys is up-to 75%.)

AZ Series: Contain aluminum (e.g., AZ91), offering a good balance of strength and ductility. Widely used in automotive parts and electronic casings.

AM Series: Contain rare earth elements (e.g., AM60), known for their high strength and good corrosion resistance. Ideal for high-performance automotive parts and aerospace components.

ZM Series: Contain zinc (e.g., ZM21), which provides improved mechanical properties and creep resistance. Commonly used in structural components requiring high strength and durability.

Semi coke

Semi-coke is produced from the thermal processing of high-grade Jurassic coal, with the main production area being Yulin City in Shaanxi Province. Semi-coke is composed primarily of carbon, with varying amounts of volatile matter and ash. It is widely used in the chemical industry, metallurgy, and coal gasification, offering unique advantages in the production processes of products such as ferrosilicon, ferrochrome, silicomanganese, fertilizers, and calcium carbide.

    Key Advantages of Yulin Semi-Coke:

    · High Fixed Carbon: Ensures efficient and stable performance in industrial processes.

    · Low Impurities: Low ash, sulfur, phosphorus, and aluminum contents make it environmentally friendly and suitable for industries requiring high-purity carbon materials.

    · High Chemical Reactivity: Enhances the efficiency of chemical reactions in applications like carbide and ferroalloy production.
